2025 CA Required 4-Hour Life
Agents who were licensed on or after January 1, 2024, must complete four (4) hours of life insurance CE before soliciting customers to sell specified life insurance policies. These requirements apply to resident and non-resident licensees.
This is the four-hour course required to sell whole life insurance and any other life product with a cash value. It will give you a comprehensive overview of the features of individual life insurance policies other than term life with no cash value. Examine acceptable sales practices as well as those that are prohibited by the Insurance Code. Explore whole life contract provisions and how they affect consumers. Review how life coverage with disability benefits functions. . Review the regulations in the California Insurance Code that relate to life insurance products with a cash value.
