California 8-Hour Annuity Training is taken 1 time only to begin selling annuity products. The course is a state approved insurance continuing education study that is required for a California agent to begin selling annuities. It satisfies your initial Annuity Training requirement. Complete only once. Each following renewal period, if selling annuities, complete the BestEd 4-hour Annuity Training as required by the state. Look at acceptable sales practices and those that are prohibited. Review sales practices as they apply to California seniors. Examine contract requirements applicable to fixed, variable, and indexed annuities.
