The FDIC is approved for life and health insurance licensees. It is an insurance continuing education course that examines how the FDIC works. The course details various aspects of deposit insurance. The student will study the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and how it came to be. The student will understand how the FDIC is structured, what deposits are covered and how much is covers. The learner will be familiar with the history of deposit insurance in the United States and how the FDIC was established. The enrollee will be familiar with issues facing FDIC caused by economic challenge and change.
