Georgia 8-Hour LTC Partnership Training is taken one time only to begin selling long-term care products. The course is a state approved insurance continuing education study that is required for a Georgia agent to begin selling long-term care insurance. It satisfies your initial long-term care requirement. Complete only once. Each following renewal period, if selling long-term care, complete the BestEd 4-hour LTC as required by the state. Review the requirements for sales and servicing of long-term care products in Georgia. Examine the long- term care legislation and its requirements. Become familiar with sanctions, policy provisions, licensing, policy replacement and product advertising. Understand the relationship between LTC and federal Medicare/Medicaid programs.
