Industry Controls is a CEQ, Class Equivalent, CE course that examines the importance of insurance as a separate line of economic activity. Remember: you need at least half of your CE in CEQ.

Look at the history and evolution of regulation of the insurance industry. Explore the legal theory and doctrine as well as promulgation of laws and codes affecting insurance regulation. Study the mechanics of bank and insurance regulatory framework. Find out about the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its facilitation of the already-growing integration of the insurance, banking and securities sectors.
